"The women - they were even more incomprehensible. They spent the long hours behind screened doors and windows (**my note: More like glass doors and windows thanks to the modern convenience of air conditioning. How many ever even have the windows open to feel the fresh air?), washing the same dishes and sweeping the same floors day after day. They, too, never raised their eyes to the blue sky outside, nor even to the crimson roses that peeped in at the window. They seemed rather to be looking always for dirt, yet not pleased when they found it - especially if it had been tracked in on the heel of a small boy's shoe!"

Sounds like fun! What are you going to use your free pass for?

Well, today despite the fact that we are having a small crew over tonight for a Stampin' Up demonstration, I'm taking the kids over to a friend's house to enjoy some nature study this afternoon. This is against my inclinations (I always feel pressed to work on the house, especially before company). But I think I'm going to save my "pass" for another day when we will throw everything to the wind and do one of the things on the list. I'll be thinking about which one and I'll let you know.
Hi Mamalion! Just wanted to let you know that I included you in my Fabulous Friday Friends blogpost today.
